What IS This?!

Bewildered by the overwhelming greatness that is ImAoS? Here's a few people/terms/somethings that ought to help...

ImAoS stands for Insane misAdventures of SARA. ImAoS was originally a comic book done for my Senior Project. My good friend Nick suggested I turn it into a webcomic. So I did, in August 2003.

ImAoS is not a gaming comic. Though it's heavily influenced by video games (along with anime, manga, TV, and life), it's a manga-esque bunch of silliness. I don't claim anything here to be funny. Some of it makes me laugh, especially when the art's good. I also don't claim to be a good artist. Or a good webpage designer. This was all done by me, so don't laugh.

SARA is an acronym for Sovereign Autocratic Ruler of All, the megalomaniac main character. SARA is the ruler of everything. She has the ability to summon people/things from various places/worlds. I don't know how she got this power. It's a plot device.

With this power comes the ability to make things not. SARA can will someone out of existence. She usually says "G'bye, [insert jerk's name here]!" when she does this.

SARA doesn't take her occupation very seriously. She has numerous distractions, vendettas, a short fuse, and a love of burning things. However, something seems to be going right, since she's still around.

SNOW is SARA's New Order of the World, the government SARA runs. She gets a cushy desk with a nice swivel chair.

Greta the Grate- The head of SNOW's Space Race (the space program), who just happens to be SARA's best friend.

She is frequently seen carrying around a clipboard. One would assume that she keeps important notes and data on this clipboard, but it is rumored that she keeps it with her in case she wants to draw.

Jimbob- He is primarily an owlfarmer, and a very unsuccessful one at that. His owls are constantly escaping. The owls don't respect him. Actually, no one does. Jimbob has book-smarts, but isn't too bright in other areas.

Jimbob doubles as SARA's advisor. SARA doesn't listen to him, but he doesn't notice.

Rei- He's the strongest male influence in the comic, since Jimbob is a girly-pants. He isn't around that often, because he doesn't really like SARA. SARA came to his world, terrorized him, and then took him to her world. Rei would like nothing more than to go home and never see SARA again.

Rei was originally in Breath of Fire III, SARA's favorite video game. He's a were tiger, and if he weren't so cool, SARA would leave him alone.

He smiles because SARA forces him to.

There are a few other people whom SARA terrorizes, in their world and in hers, like Link and Kenshin.

The Bad Guys- Just like with everyone else, there's a lot of people SARA doesn't like. The difference between SARA and other people, though, is that SARA rules the world and can do anything she likes to said people. Frosty the Snowman is a good example.

There's also a family whose power comes close to that of SARA's. Autocratic Sovereign Ruler of Some (ASRoS) was the first of these, and SARA had some trouble beating him. Autocratic Sovereign Ruler of a Little (ASRoaL) is the next of these. SARA learned the hard way that ASRoaL likes eating little dragons.
